 Over almost 10 years, a new radio communication technology called LoRa^TM (as for Long Range) has emerged. Using this type of modulation allows better receiver sensitivity improving transmission range by a factor of 2 to 3 at least.

MyMeterInfo introduced since July 2013 LoRa^TM based products in the 169 MHz ISM band using the Wireless MBus N2 and OMS Protocols application layers.

As of today, the MyMeterInfo LoRa^TM product family is composed of several data concentrators using GSM/GPRS modem, ModBus RTU on RS-232 or RS-485, or even Ethernet TCP/IP communication to transfer the collected data to the user's cloud, and proposes several sensors/actuators as well such as pulse collectors (available in ATEX Zone 0 version to use in explosive environment), temperature, humidity, light, etc. to name a few.
